Kanye West has been charged with criminal battery and attempted grand theft, following an incident with a photographer at LAX.

On July 19, West allegedly punched photographer Daniel Ramos and wrestled him to the ground, trying to take his camera.

Ramos suffered hip injuries and went to hospital; he subsequently filed a lawsuit against West. According to TMZ, Kanye faces a maximum of one year in jail if convicted on both counts. Surely it’s not just us that sees a lo-fi prison diary record as being the natural sequel to Yeezus anyway?
