New Four Tet is always cause for everyone here at FACT to get a little hot under the collar, and this latest taster of forthcoming full-length Beautiful Rewind is no disappointment.

Following the controversial ‘Kool FM‘, ‘Parallel Jalebi’ is a twisted slice of mutant electronics, straddling as many genres as it is avoiding them. Graced by a decadent, choppy R&B vocal and underpinned with a crunchy low slung rhythm it’s hardly what you’d expect from Kieran Hebden (especially in light of his recent production excursions), but then we’ve come to expect the unexpected at this point.
