The Young Echo member follows up last year’s Order of Noise LP.

Seb Gainsborough, aka Bristol producer Vessel, has announced a new EP forthcoming on Mute’s Liberation Technologies offshoot, the sublabel that launched last year with a 12″ from Laurel Halo’s King Felix alias.

Misery Is A Communicable Disease is a three-track collection, comprising the title track plus the minimal wave-channelling ‘VMI’ and the “deranged” ‘Not For Design’, according to the label. It’s out on October 14 on 12″ and digitally. [via Juno Plus]

Earlier this year Young Echo released their debut LP, Nexus, while the crew’s FACT mix at the start of summer provided a fine companion piece to the album, blending dub-centred music that feels firmly Bristolian with an added gothic sensibility.
