Contemporary-artist-turned-electronic-musician Dinos Chapman has announced details of a fresh EP.

Even the most dilettantish art enthusiast will be familiar with Chapman’s work as one half of scatological troublemakers The Chapman Brothers, but 2013 has seen him sidestep into the music game, releasing the playful, pan-genre Luftbobler – an album equally besotted with Autechre and COUM Transmissions. Since then, he’s been remixed by Actress, appeared at Sonar, and produced a live “installation” version of the album.

The Vinyl Factory have now announced details of a new four-track from the producer. LUV2H8 promises three new Chapman tracks, each breaking the 10-minute mark and promising a “clear progression” from Luftbobler‘s electronic miniatures. The EP also boasts a punchy remix of Luftbobler‘s quirky title track, courtesy of DJ, artist and Playgroup man Trevor Jackson.

As reported, Chapman will also premiere his live, dancefloor-focused AV show at London’s Fabric in October. The bill also boasts a live set from Heimlich, and DJ sessions from Jackson, Jarvis Cocker & Steve Mackay, and Nick Wiliams.

LUV2H8 will see release on October 10. Head here for further information and pre-order details.
