The monthly series announces its final shows of the year.

Launched this year by international arts organisation Moringa, the St. John Sessions have already brought experimental electronic acts like Actress, Tim Hecker and William Basinski to the church of St John-at-Hackney in east London.

Now the line-ups for the final two shows of the year have been announced, with next month’s gig on November 7 headlined by ambient veteran Biosphere with support from techno producer Perc and a live show by EQLS, the duo of Milo Fitzpatrick (Portico Quartet) and Nick Siddall (Morviscous, Talk In Colour).

Then on December 5, Kompakt co-founder Wolfgang Voigt will present his Rückverzauberung project, an extension of his modern classical work under the Gas moniker, with support from Marcus Schmickler and sound poet Marsen Jules. Tickets can be bought here. [via RA]

Earlier this year Biosphere put together a mix in tribute to the late Pete Namlook, Frankfurt producer and boss of the FAX +49-69/450464 label. Voigt, meanwhile, has just delivered a deluxe release documenting the conceptual sound installation he created recently for an art fair in Cologne.
