Solange's Saint Records announces inaugural compilation featuring Cassie, Jhene Aiko, Kelela and more

The soul singer aims to “highlight and align a new movement of contemporary, genre-defying R&B visionaries.”

In May, Solange announced the creation of Saint Records, an endeavor over which she has “100% creative/artistic control… to passionately pursue my footing in this new musical movement.”

Saint’s first release will be a 12-song compilation entitled Saint Heron. While a tracklist has not been announced, it will feature contributions by Solange herself, FACT faves Kelela, Cassie, Jhene Aiko, and Sampha, and newcomers BC Kingdom, Jade de la Fleur, Iman Omari, Petite Noir, Starchild, and India Shawn.

Saint Heron (with cover art by media artist Rashaad Newsome) is due out on November 12. Stream the full version of Kelela’s Morri$-produced ‘Go All Night’, which appears as interludes on her exemplary CUT 4 ME.
