Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to tour North America next summer

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds plan a continent-spanning tour.

The bard of the outback and his gothic troupe will begin a major tour across North America next June, kicking off in Louisville, Kentucky, on 16 June. The 19-date tour will finish in Toronto on 31 July. Watch a tour trailer below.

Meanwhile the Bad Seeds are about to release an album recorded live at Californian radio station KCRW earlier this year as part of this year’s Black Friday event. FACT hailed their 2013 studio album Push the Sky Away as “arguably Cave and The Bad Seeds’ most ambitious record yet.”

The Bad Seeds are currently on tour in Europe, playing in Antwerp in Belgium tonight and finishing with three dates in Italy at the end of the month. [via Pitchfork]
