The Pelican Flyboy takes on Dre Skull’s tropical-pop single.

Earlier this year, Mixpak boss Dre Skull enlisted Purity Ring’s Megan James and dancehall artist Popcaan for a new voicing of his synth-washed ‘Loudspeaker Riddim’ entitled ‘First Time’.

Sinjin Hawke continues his streak of hot-like-fire remixes and collaborations with his predictably maximalist take on the tune. As he alternates between Just Blaze-styled orchestra hits and sub-bass menace, the producer’s drums rumble and wine from the first roll to the crystalline finale.
