The Manchester-based producer and DJ looks to start 2014 with a bang, launching his brand new imprint Cold Tonic.

Named after his popular Tumblr page, Cold Tonic will be a platform for releases from Krystal Klear himself, as well as select associates. The first release is a 12″ featuring new tracks ‘Squad’ and ‘Turn Valve’, and you can peep the sizzling A-side in full below. Artwork for the label will be handled by fellow Manc DJ and Hoya:Hoya resident Jon K, and, and ‘Squad’ is due to hit the shelves on February 3.

Not content with merely starting his own label, Krystal Klear also revealed on Twitter this week that he had finished a remix for U.S. soul sensation (and recent Ninja Tune signee) Kelis. Now that sounds like something to get excited about.
