Power Vacuum rounds up Objekt, An-i and more for Vectors compilation

The blossoming acid techno imprint prepares a taster EP.

Power Vacuum, the label launched by Chrome Hoof founder-member Milo Smee in 2012, has been a vital cog in the rather unexpected recent resurgence of crusty-edged, hardware-based rave fare, with releases from Mark Broom, EDMX and Smee himself, under the name Bintus. As Smee puts it, “tame house would be the nemesis”.

Following the release of the first Bintus album Live* And Locked late last year, Power Vacuum has announced a various artists EP bringing together five producers over four tracks. Berlin DJ Objekt kicks off the compilation with his track ‘Balloons’, followed by a collaboration from Joe Farr and J.Tjin. On the flip you’ll find tracks from An-i, the new project from former house and disco-focused producer Lee Douglas, and Ukrainian DJ and producer Positive Merge.

No audio appears to be available just yet, but here’s Objekt’s colossal FACT mix in the meantime.

Titled Vectors, the EP is out on March 18. [via JunoPlus]
