On paper at least, there was no doubting what the marquee performance at The Grammys 2014 was: Daft Punk teaming up live with Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, and Pharrell Williams. Although the medley brought the hits (‘Get Lucky’/‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’, Chic’s ‘Le Freak’, and Wonder’s ‘Another Star’), though, something about it felt too stilted to really hit the sweet spot.

A wily Reddit poster has now uploaded footage of the rehearsals for the performance, which offers a looser, jollier, and, arguably, superior version of the team-up. Click below to watch.
