Just Blaze, Dâm-Funk and Nguzunguzu added to RBMA Festival in New York

Torn Hawk and Caroline Polachek also join the month-long event series.

This May, Red Bull Music Academy will host a series of performances and lectures in New York ranging from a public lecture by D’Angelo to a cross-genre “hardcore” event featuring Tim Hecker, Gunplay, Napalm Death and more.

RBMA have now filled out the line-up with a few more faces, including Dâm-Funk and Torn Hawk, who’ll perform at Panda Bear’s May 18 show at Brooklyn venue Warsaw.

Nguzunguzu has been added to the line-up of the closing party at the Abrons Art Center, while Just Blaze will DJ at ‘The Four Corners of the Clash’ alongside Trouble & Bass, Que Bajo, and Federation Sound’s Max Glazer and Kenny Meez.

Finally Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek will DJ at the Brooklyn Flea Record Fair on May 10 alongside Autre Ne Veut, Optimo and more.

RBMA Festival New York kicks off on May 1 and runs all month long at various venues. Head to RBMA’s website for more information.
