Altered Natives lines up two albums for 2014, starting with "dirty" LP Sin Elevated Art

The London house bruiser readies two full-lengths.

Altered Natives has announced not one but two albums for 2014, marking his first full-length releases since completing his Tenement Yard series in 2012 and his first release since last year’s three-trackon Hoya:Hoya.

Retaining the “dirty, house-based, devil may care, London stylings” of the Tenement Yard releases, Danny Yorke promises “some of my finest dance floor tracks to date” on the first album, which is titled Sin Elevated Art.

Included are tracks about “addressing all the greedy governments worldwide” and “feeling like a cat”, plus a celebration of the spinachy Caribbean vegetable callaloo. See below for tracklist.

That one’s due out on Eye4Eye Recordings on May 2, followed in October by another as-yet-unnamed record. As well as that, he’s putting together his first album project under his Dr Cockbloctopus alter ego, expected in spring 2015.
