German nu-gazer Ulrich Schnauss has been perfecting his particular brand of cotton wool wrapped electronica for over a decade, and he’s set to show that off at London’s Electrowerkz on July 3.

Back in the early ’00s, Ulrich Schnauss waved goodbye to a career in main-room techno (as Beroshima) in favour of a move to Manchester’s City Centre Offices and an excursion into electrified shoegaze revisions. Focusing on a (then maligned) era of (mostly) British guitar music, Schnauss channeled Ride, Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine into a sound that has continued to grow in the years since.

Last year, he released A Long Way To Fall on the Scripted Realities label, and while his live appearances are few and far between right now, it looks as if we’ll get the opportunity to see his new A/V set at Electrowerkz on July 3.

Ulrich will be supported by JAGGA, who might not be the most obvious name right now, but looks set for big things – he’s just been in LA recording with Odd Future’s Matt Martian, and is due a very big 2014.
