Swedish duo JJ – yes,their name is now capitalised – will return this Summer with a new album on Secretly Canadian, titled V.

The V presumably stands for 5, making it the fifth in a series of numbered jj releases (jj no.1, jj no.2, etc). As you’d expect from JJ, there’s not a lot of information on the new album, but it will be released on August 19 through Sincerely Yours / Secretly Canadian, and comes accompanied by the following message:

At last we meet again
and I’m like baby, what you doing here?
You stay on my mind.
We been up all winters for someone like you and we know that you been up all winters for someone like us.
We don’t even know your name or where you came from
and someday this war will be over so we and our friends will stay together until the end.
Making our way through this motherfucking life.
Come on, we have to do it.
