Axl Rose claims to have finished the sequel to Chinese Democracy

In a new interview with Revolver, Guns ‘n’ Roses frontman Axl Rose claims that the sequel to the group’s last album, Chinese Democracy, isn’t far off.

“We recorded a lot of things before Chinese was out”, claims Axl. “We’ve worked more on some of those things and we’ve written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of Chinese. That’s already recorded.”

“And then we have a remix album made of the songs from Chinese. That’s been done for a while, too.”

Given that a) Chinese Democracy, until its release, was rock music’s most notoriously delayed album, and b) Axl Rose is usually at least half-full of shit at any given time, we’d take this with a pinch of salt. Or, as Axl likes to call it, a gigantic rock of cocaine. You can read the full interview here.
