“I’m not a professional.”

In an unlikely match up of generations and styles, legendary American TV and radio host Larry King sat down with Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator for the latest episode of his web series Larry King Now.

Playing up to the situation while being both insightful and true to form, Tyler touched on Odd Future’s first paid gig – at Low End Theory in 2010 for 500 dollars – as well as his ambitions for the future, why he hates rapping, how he deals with record industry ‘suits’ and why it shouldn’t matter if a rapper is gay.

The whole interview is available to watch back on Hulu, while those of you outside the US can see snippets from the interview on Larry King’s YouTube channel. We’ve embedded a few of our favourites below.

Earlier this week Tyler laid into street rap with a parody video for Adult Swim’s new show.
