John Heckle’s Desolate Figures was one of our favourite records of last year, despite the fact we didn’t truly cotton on to its genius until the dying weeks of December. Nevertheless we soon fell hard for Heckle’s ruffled techno with an acid heartbeat, which he followed up earlier this year with the four-track Laid Away EP.

This month he returns to Desolate Figures material for a properly eclectic remix EP featuring Houndstooth producer and canny techno selector Call Super, analogue house explorer Moon B and Giallo Disco Records co-founder and horror fetishist Vercetti Technicolor.
