Seasoned electronica veterans To Rococo Rot tease material from their first album in four years

Made up of brothers Robert and Ronald Lippok and Stefan Schneider, To Rococo Rot are well-practiced masters of featherlight post- rock for computer-heads. With eight albums under their belt, they’re gearing up to drop another full-length, Instrument, via old friends City Slang.

Intriguingly, the new album features multiple vocals contributions from DNA frontman, former Lounge Lizard and bossanova revivalist Arto Lindsay. We’ve got the first play of one of those Lindsay-assisted tracks, ‘Classify’, and it’s a charming lullaby in waltz-time; click below to listen.

Instrument drops on July 21; the band will play London’s Cafe OTO on the same day. FACT TV recently caught up with Robert Lippok at last month’s MUTEK festival to discuss Instrument. Earlier this year, we also sat down with Lindsay to discuss a selection of classic records from his back catalogue.
