“TIME TO TAKE YOU BACK TO JACKIN’ YOUR BODY!!!!!!!”

Chicago talents Paul Johnson and DJ Lil’ Tal have been making house since the mid-’90s, when they both released tracks on seminal label Dance Mania. Now, they’ve reunited with the revived label for The Doobie Bruthas Project, a four-track split EP.

Lil Tal kicks things off with the disco-infused ‘Find A Love’ and ‘Mandrake’ (the type of Dance Mania material that inspired Bangalter’s Trax On Da Rocks, no doubt), while Paul Johnson goes deeper and darker with ‘Jack that Ass’ and ‘Energy’.
