FACT is looking for a Social Media Manager.

We’re growing fast and keeping up with you guys across the web is a full time job now. So we’re looking for a driven social media manager to lead our social efforts from our office in London.

You’ll be required to keep in touch with our readers across the web, promoting FACT and FACT TV’s content, attracting new followers and driving engagement across all key social media platforms, with particular attention to Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.

You will be responsible for setting and executing an effective, ambitious but realistic social media strategy to grow our following on each network, drive engagement, communicate with our community and ultimately bring traffic to FACT.

You should have a relentless passion for social media and a deep and thorough understanding of social media metrics.

You will also need to be ready to throw yourself into (or already be a part of) the music space and be familiar with the artists we cover – mainstream and underground.

Requirements:

Relentless obsession with all major social media platforms
Self starter
Knowledge of social media tools and apps to help achieve set goals
A passion for digital/online publishing
Ability to think of creative ideas to drive engagement and growth
An appreciation of the value of visual content
Knowledge of and experience of Fact and the music space
A deep and thorough understanding of social media metrics
Excellent writing and communication skills
Calm under pressure
Ability to lead a team

Responsibilities:

Set and execute an effective social media strategy
Monitor and grow Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest presence and engagement, whilst driving traffic back to FACT
Work closely with editorial team to plan social strategy for upcoming events and festivals
Drive engagement and traffic to FACT
Measure and study effectiveness of social media strategy across platforms
Get involved in recruiting other staff to assist in your goals
