DFA Records maestro tapped again by indie director.

Having composed the soundtrack to Noah Baumbach’s Greenberg a few years back, James Murphy is returned to his scoring role for the NYC director’s latest feature, While We’re Young.

The news seeped out via the preliminary announcements for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, where the film will be screened later this year.

Ben Stiller, who also appeared in Greenberg, has been cast in the movie alongside Beastie Boys’ Adam Horovitz, aka Ad-Rock. Naomi Watts, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Driver and Charles Grodin also appear in the film, which follows “a middle-aged couple whose career and marriage are over-turned when a disarming young couple enters their lives.”
