The most boring decade ever?

We jest. But not much. Redditors have compiled a three-tier list of the best albums of the 2000s based on hundreds of submissions to a thread asking users for their 10 favourites.

Ranked by popularity, the top tier features four albums that came up time and again in Redditors’ lists: Radiohead’s Kid A, The Strokes’ Is This It, Arcade Fire’s Funeral and Kanye West’s The College Dropout. Solid albums, we agree, but they’re no 20 Jazz Funk Greats, eh?

The second tier lists the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Gorillaz and the White Stripes (who get two) while the third tier includes Eminem, Sufjan Stevens and Madvillain. Check out all the albums below, and for a more comprehensive take on the Best Albums of the Decade format, read FACT’s verdict on the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. [via CoS]
