Flying Lotus returns as Captain Murphy with a frazzled new single.

Released as part of Adult Swim’s singles series, ‘Cosplay’ follows yesterday’s fantastic animated short entitled The Birth of Captain Murphy. Those of you familiar with FlyLo’s rap alias should know what to expect already, and ‘Cosplay’ doesn’t disappoint with its blend of syrup-laced beats, low-slung bass and typically psychedelic rhymes.

For those of you eagerly awaiting Flying Lotus’s eagerly anticipated new album You’re Dead, there’s now a tantalizing tracklist to take a peep at featuring Herbie Hancock, Thundercat and, amazingly, Snoop Dogg.
