Let’s be real for a second here – there’s no denying the raw power of Trina and Killer Mike’s under-the-radar ’08 banger ‘Look Back At Me’.

It’s a track that’s been a secrete club weapon for those in the know for some time, and it stands to reason that a couple of East Coast DJs (who’ve been supporting the tune for some time) have put together an updated take on the track, priming it for the twerking generation.

Skinny Friedman and Scott Melker are both veteran club spinners, and together they’ve recently started crafting tracks under the MBS moniker. Here they tear ‘Look Back At Me’ to bits, taking out all the fat and leaving only the necessary elements – that Neptunes-style synth line and Trina’s cooing assertion that her ass is “big like the sun” (okaaaay) for instance – before adding in enough retching bounce to appeal to the new generation of pill-poppers.
