Following releases on Black Acre and Project Mooncircle, 1000 Names return with a new album for Kelpe’s Drut Recordings.

The Bulgarian duo might have emerged with the beat scene in the late ’00s, but there’s little of that left as they move into new pastures on Migration Pads. Certainly our latest taster – ‘The Caravan’, which you can hear below – occupies its own space, fusing the duo’s keen ear for sound design with a loose, lo-fi house structure and billowing ambient textures.

It’s gorgeous stuff, and if you fancy hearing more, the whole album is set for release on October 27.
