1080p have been on a roll this year and it doesn’t look like they have any intention of losing the momentum.

Their next release is the debut album from young Ottowa producer Riohv who, according to the attached press release pens “scruffy acid house and colour drenched hybrid techno,” and who are we to disagree? It’s faded, dusty and almost expectedly lo-fi material from the ascendent Vancouver stable, and yet more proof that they’re doing something very right indeed at the moment.

You can hear Moondance in its entirety below, and you can also purchase it on cassette (as usual) if you fancy having something a bit more tangible.

If you’re dying to hear more from 1080p, FACT’s own Chal Ravens picked a handful of her favorite releases, and asked the label’s Richard MacFarlane to offer the inside story on each one.
