Psychedelic cats aplenty.

Prolific Detroit-born artist Jimmy Edgar is preparing the final instalment in a trio of records centred around the elements. The first entry, Hot Inside, represented the element of fire, and its follow-up release, Mercurio, symbolised water. The third and final EP in the series is entitled Saline and is aligned with the earth. The title “refers specifically to the earthly compound salt, as desalination is an integral metaphysical process that helps to hone the third eye.”

‘Who’s Watchin’ is the last track on Jimmy Edgar’s Saline EP, due to be released via his Ultramajic imprint next week. The playful, bleepy number has an infectious groove and features the altered vocals of Jimmy himself. The Saline EP will also feature a posthumous contribution from DJ Rashad.

Ultramajic will release Jimmy Edgar’s Saline EP on October 13.
