Salva crafts "futuristic street tracks" for rap-focused Peacemaker LP, featuring Young Thug, Schoolboy Q and more

The Los Angeles club pro readies a rap-focused album.

Salva has been on a tear this year, producing tracks for a wide-ranging list of rap talent: West Coast veteran Kurupt, Black Hippy rep Schoolboy Q, New York ruffneck A$AP Ferg, Atlanta scene-stealer Young Thug and more.

Those tracks and more will feature on Peacemaker, his follow-up to 2011’s eclectic, dancefloor-friendly Complex Housing. The producer will self-release the a rap-focused album on October 29.

“I’ve been working on my rap album Peacemaker for the last year or so, letting out tracks like ‘Old English’ and ‘Drop That Bitch’ … those hard futuristic street tracks are really what this album is about,” Salva tells FADER.

Peacemaker features the previously-released ‘Old English’, ‘Drop That Bitch’ and ‘Motivated’, along with new tracks with Chicago up-and-comers Ballout and Tadoe, West Coast legend E-40 and more.
