Mononymous singer Lafawndah is the focal point for the New York duo’s new video.  

Last month Teengirl Fantasy announced their upcoming EP Thermal, due out on next month via Break World Records. Today the duo shared the video for the EP’s first single, ‘Lung’. The track is an exercise in deconstructed dancefloor pop and combines the siren-like vocals of Lafawndah with moody, high-gloss production.

The video for ‘Lung’ is as immersive as the track itself. Filmed at New York gay utopia Fire Island Pines, the hypnotic film clip is bathed in a green hue that offset’s the track’s warm production, capturing Lafawndah as she is writhing on the seashore and singing amidst a bed of lush tropical reeds.

Teengirl Fantasy’s Thermal EP will be released on November 18 via Break World Records.
