Next week (on Halloween, appropriately), Kranky will release the latest album by Grouper, entitled Ruins. Recorded almost entirely in Aljezur, Portugal on an upright piano and a Sony 4-track, the album finds Harris processing “a lot of political anger and emotional garbage.”
