Mark E readies AVION EP for Ghostly International offshoot Spectral Sound

The Midlands maestro readies his fifth record of the calendar year.

Wolverhampton-born, Birmingham-based producer Mark E has gone from strength to strength since first making waves with the release of his Stone Breaker LP, arriving on Ghostly sister label Spectral Sound in 2011. Since then, Mark Evetts has consistently delivered excellent slices of chugging house via imprints such as Running Back and Futureboogie Recordings as well as releasing a string of records on his own Merc imprint.

Evetts has returned to the familiar ground of Spectral Sound for his latest EP, to be released next month. The AVION EP signals Mark E’s first outing on the label since last year’s excellent Product Of Industry album. AVION features four original cuts plus two remixes from White Material associate Alvin Aronson and Laszlo Dancehall, AKA Leon Vynehall and Christian Piers.
