The Norwegian synth-poppers receive a remix EP.

Soft As Snow (the duo of Oda Egjar Starheim and Øystein Monsen) debuted earlier this year with their Glass Body EP for Fabric’s Houndstooth imprint, showcasing a take on electronic pop steeped in minimal wave and early Warp releases that favors analogue synths, off-kilter vocals and processed guitars.

The EP has now been taken further down the rabbit hole, with a handful of high-profile artists each offering idiosyncratic remixes. Italian techno experimenter Lucy strips down ‘Halo Heart’, Gang Gang Dance‘s Brian DeGraw highlights the angles and sharp corners of ‘All Our Beasts’, Factory Floor‘s Gabe Gurnsey supercharges the title track and Maria Minerva streamlines ‘Black Birds’.
