Six cutting-edge grime offshoots you need to hear.

The first release from Logos and Mumdance’s brand new label Different Circles doubles as a mission statement for the spectral take on grime they’re calling “weightless”.

The six-track EP features a collaboration between the label bosses and Houston producer Rabit on ‘Inside The Catacomb’, plus new material from three more UK producers within their circle – Inkke, Dark0 and Murlo – and solo cuts from Rabit and Strict Face.

“I don’t think anyone has tried to capture that sound in this kind of way yet,” Logos told FACT in an interview about the label last month. “These tracks are akin to devil mixes, but I think the atmospheres the producers explore on the record goes much further than that, so we coined the term weightless to capture that sense of, I suppose, spatially untethered club trax.”
