On October 17, Mike Skinner and Desperados took over South London’s Bussey Building with the aim of taking clubnights to the Next Level.

As you can see in the video above, this didn’t just mean DJ sets – which came from the likes of Stanton Warriors, Deadboy, Oxide & Neutrino and Skinner himself – but a party that took place on multiple levels, with secret doors, walls to break through, rooms filled with surprises and the opportunity to dance with a succession of robots.

Speaking about the party, Skinner – who will be launching a new record label in the coming months – claimed that “It’s great to be a part of something like this. I love what Desperados did, manipulating time and space to create something unique.”
