Caribou and Patti Smith to play Field Day 2015, many more acts announced

Dan Snaith and the punk priestess join the two-day bill.

Next year’s Field Day is beginning to take shape, with organisers announcing that Caribou will headline the Saturday of the Victoria Park festival while Patti Smith will join reunited shoegazers Ride on Sunday.

Also announced for the electronic-leaning Saturday line-up are Ben Klock and Marcel Dettman doing their tag team DJ set, SOPHIE, Clark playing live, Daniel Avery going back-to-back with Andrew Weatherall, Kindness, Nina Kraviz, the awesome Ethiopian one-man-band Hailu Mergia with Tony Buck and Mike Majkowski, and many more.

On Sunday, Patti Smith and her band will celebrate 40 years since the release of her landmark punk opus Horses with a performance of that album in its entirety, while DIIV, Ducktails, Jane Weaver and Outfit are also on the bill. See the full line-up so far below.
