London pop-up venue Paperworks re-opens for Christmas with DJs, film screenings and fire pits

Corsica Studios’ little sister puts a roof on for Yuletide.

This summer saw the opening of Paperworks, an open-air venue in Elephant & Castle offering music, films, street food and pop-up bars every weekend. Now that the cold has set in, the south London space has been revamped for Christmas with a new roof, heaters, fire pits, hot dogs from Fleisch Mob, hot toddies and – important, this – a Funktion-One sound system.

The big launch is happening this weekend, with music from Church label bosses Apes and Seb Wildblood on Friday, November 28, from 5pm, while Trouble Vision DJs Mr Solid Gold  (a face from our 100 Underrated DJs list) and Park Ranger deliver the goods on Saturday from 5pm.

Future weeks will see film screenings, winter markets showcasing local artists and designers, Christmas workshops, acoustic gigs and loads more DJs.

Keep up to date with what’s planned at the venue via The Paperworks website and Facebook. It’s located five minutes away from Corsica Studios – see it on the map.
