Are you a fan of both acid house and industrial-themed Victorian era science fiction?

We thought so. You’re in luck, as one clever sci-fi and synth nerd has gone and built a clone of Roland’s iconic TB-303 synthesizer, handcrafted in a distinctly steampunk style.

Tomash Ghzegovsky’s steampunk 303 clone is built upon the x0x-heart board and his own Teensy Synth control board. The synth is housed in a handcrafted wooden enclosure with a lid and an engraved aluminium face plate.

Ghzegovsky’s steampunk 303 clone can be built to order for €300. You can watch the device in action above. [via Synthtopia]
