What the Ferg?

A$AP mobster and self-appointed Trap Lord A$AP Ferg has long had an interest in art outside of the rap world – he did do his time at art school after all. His interest in fashion recently culminated in a label of his own – also called Trap Lord – but according to Pitchfork, he’s just embarked on an even more ambitious creative venture.

He’s designed a line of clothing for, err, Syracuse University, taking the school’s colors and name and putting together a range of limited edition sportswear that can be acquired from Virgin Mega. Weirdly, you can actually only buy the clothes if you choose to download the Virgin Mega app and wait in an online queue, and you’re not guaranteed to get your shirts even then. The Trap Lord giveth and the Trap Lord taketh away.
