From blimp to Grammy nomination.

Yesterday saw the gradual unveiling of the 2015 Grammy nominations. And while most of the nominees left a bland taste in our mouths once more, one category that didn’t appear straight away has at least managed to rebalance that somewhat.

The Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album categories have now been added, and they include Aphex Twin‘s Syro in the latter. He’ll be battling it out with everyone’s favourite dancing rodent Deadmau5, Little Dragon and Röyksopp & Robyn among others.

Disclosure’s collaboration with Mary J. Blige is up for the Best Dance Recording category alongside Duke Dumont and Basement Jaxx.
