Claude Speeed follows debut album with Planet Mu release

After a one-off remix for Kuedo, Claude Speeed delivers EP for Planet Mu.

Following on from his debut album for LuckyMe earlier this year, Scottish producer Claude Speeed will be adding another illustrious label to his name, Planet Mu. The label have announced Sun Czar Temple, a five-track EP scheduled for release in January 2015.

According to Planet Mu, it was the producer’s 2012 remix of Kuedo’s ‘Work Live & Sleep In Collapsing Space’ that first raised interest in a release. They describe the new EP as “an epic set of songs that distort emotional songwriting with textured synthetic ambience and computer noise. Dreams on hard disk.”

You can read our review of Speeed’s My Skeleton from earlier this year, and also hear his contribution to the FACT mix series.

Pre-orders and snippets of the record are available at the Planet Mu site. [Via Resident Advisor]
