The enduring British DJ walks us through his vast record collection.

Dave Lee, better known as Joey Negro, is one of the most longstanding figures in UK house music. Lee first began collecting disco, soul and funk records in the late 1970s and has since amassed an enviable vinyl library.

In this short video from house imprint Defected, Lee walks us through his immense record collection. The now 50-year-old DJ and producer, who scored a number of Top 40 hits in the early 2000s under the pseudonym of Jakatta, highlights his extensive selection of soul, house and disco records (including a decent chunk of the legendary Salsoul back catalogue) as well as vast swathes of go-go and regional funk bits and even a Masters at Work plastic bag from the early ’00s.
