Burnt Friedman compiles Nonplace Soundtracks, collecting pieces originally composed for film and TV

Electronic composer Burnt Friedman will release the first volume of Nonplace Soundtracks later this month.

Set to arrive on Friedman’s Nonplace imprint, the compilation will bring together no less than 25 compositions originally written for film or TV, or to be used “in conjunction with moving images.” The compositions will be presented in “a dense, seamless mix of 25 short cinematic scenes.”

All of the tracks on Nonplace Soundtracks, Scenes 1-25 involve Friedman or Hayden Chisholm (as part of The Embassadors), with guitarist Joseph Such also making a handful of appearances.

Nonplace will release Nonplace Soundtracks, Scenes 1-25 on January 30. You can stream clips of the compilation on the Nonplus website. [via Resident Advisor]
