The legendary producer reissues his early works.
Adrian Sherwood — a pioneering figure in the worlds of dub reggae, post-punk and electronic music — will reissue a collection of early productions and remixes on his peerless On-U Sound imprint.
The compilation features music from The Slits, Prince Far I, The Fall and Mark Stewart, along with six tracks that have never been reissued and two that were previously unreleased. Sherwood At The Controls, Vol. 1: 1979-1984 is due out on April 6; the tracklist and a brief teaser video follow.
Sherwood and Pinch will release their long-awaited collaborative album Late Night Endless next month; here’s an interview with the producer from the FACT archives.
