The hip-hop genius could finally be ready to re-enter the fray.

After stealing the show at last weekend’s Super Bowl with her medley of hits, Missy Elliott seems poised to get back in the game.

MissInfo reports that Diplo and Skrillex have tapped her to add a remix to their bolshy dance-pop hit ‘Take Ü There’. According to the site, which claims to have heard the unreleased remix, Elliott contributes two verses to the tune – one that harks back to her feature on Gina Thompson’s ‘The Things You Do’ and another that recalls Elliott’s ‘Hot Boyz’.

Her comeback has been slow going so far, with Elliott dropping a taster of a new track with Timbaland last September, and suggesting that a new album, tentatively titled Block Party, would arrive before the end of 2014. Back in July, Timbaland said of the album: “It’s on her. She got the first single, it’s just a matter of when she wants to do it. We got the hollow-tip bullet in the gun. We have the game-changer right there.”

Meanwhile, the tracks she performed at the Super Bowl – ‘Work It’, ‘Get Ur Freak On’ and ‘Lose Control’ – have now zoomed to the top of the iTunes Singles Chart, while her 2001 LP Miss E…So Addictive also leaped up the iTunes album chart.
