Marcel Dettmann Records have announced their first full-length compilation.

Techno titan Marcel Dettmann is releasing an eight track, double-vinyl compilation on his eponymous imprint next month. Acccording to the label, the new compilation marks “the next phase of his artistic mission as he evolves from a successful solo act to assume the mantel of mentor and advocate for a new community of likeminded artists.”

Simply titled MDR Compilation, the package marks the label’s first full-length release, although it does follow a similar format to the pair of EPs released last year that collected tracks from Dettmann’s excellent fabric mix CD.

Along with an effort from the man himself, MDR Compilation also collects tracks from Answer Code Request, FBK, Anthony Parasole, Norman Nodge, Milton Bradley, Kobosil and Lockermatik.

To celebrate the release, Dettmann and co. will tour Europe and the US in March, visiting Munich, London, Paris, Rome, Italy, New York and Hamburg before finishing up at Berghain on March 28.

MDR Compilation is available from March 2 on vinyl and digital formats. You can check the full tracklist below. [via Resident Advisor]
