The New York producer announces EP for Styles Upon Styles’ Bangers And Ash series and synchs his new single up to a silent film classic.

Bangers And Ash is a series on the Styles Upon Styles label that asks producers to make a “12 single where one side is dedicated to dancefloor bangers and the other is strictly for heady zoning. Producer Brendon Moeller, best known for his Echologist moniker, will release his volume on February 24, but today he has a new song and a music video.

Below you can listen to ‘A Blizzard Of Flurries’ which is most definitely off the more abstract side. It comes with a video that pairs the track to an edited version of Carl Th. Dreyer’s silent masterpiece The Passion Of Joan of Arc. The electronic soundscape provides a haunting accompaniment to the title character’s final days. Watch it below.
