The reissue specialists ready a pair of releases.

Death Waltz and Mondo, two soundtrack-focused labels that joined forces last year, have each announced an upcoming release.

Death Waltz will revisit their inaugural release, Fabio Frizzi’s score to Zombie Flesh Eaters (aka Zombi 2), which has been newly remastered at Abbey Road under Frizzi’s supervision. Stream the soundtrack below; last year, it landed in FACT’s 100 Greatest Horror Soundtracks.

In addition, Mondo has announced the first-ever vinyl issue of Maniac Cop 2. The music to director William Lustig’s 1990 film was prepped by Jay Chattaway; sample it below. [via Exclaim]
