FKA twigs called in to choreograph “the heart of the film”.

Next week the film Catch Me Daddy opens in UK theaters. The thriller tells the story of Laila, a young Pakistani girl who’s hiding out with her boyfriend as they’re pursued by her strict family.

Director Daniel Wolfe has now previewed a scene he calls “the heart of the film”, which finds Laila dancing to Patti Smith’s ‘Land’. For the scene, Wolfe brought in FKA twigs to choreograph actress Sameena Jabeen Ahmed, who had never danced before. Watch her in the clip below, via NME, and see Catch Me Daddy in UK theaters from February 27.
