In some Against the Clocks, the artists focuses on the finished beat, adding elements step by step. Others – KiNK, Mathew Jonson – are as much about the process, and Ansome falls into the second bracket. The South London-based producer, who’s released a series of belting techno 12″s over the last year or so, has one hell of a studio, complete with modular synthesiser, and he utilises it to full effect here.
